The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has insisted on remaining a member of the Peoples Democratic Party despite being a Minister in the APC cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, daring anybody to sack him.
He made the statement on Monday while disclosing his resolve to work hard for the party.

Addressing his monthly press briefing, the Minister warned that he’s not afraid to step on the toes of rich people.
According to Wike, he enjoys stepping on the toes of the wealthy, not the poor people.
He said: “Look at what we are doing differently. I have found out that most of them didn’t have the courage to annoy people, to step on toes – I take joy when stepping on the toes of big men, those who say nothing will happen. I take joy in saying something will happen.
“It makes me happy. You want me to take decisions against the poor people while you, the rich man, think nothing will happen – something will happen. And that’s why we are getting results.
“The only person that I owe is Mr. President. This is what I’m doing because I have to support the government and make a difference.
“I’m in PDP, but when people don’t want to learn, impunity will kill you. I’m still in PDP and work hard for this party.”
Wike spoke on Monday in Abuja, revealing that he will lead the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign for the next election.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has hinted that he will lead President Bola Tinubu’s campaign in 2027.
He stated this during a recent interview on Monday in Abuja
When asked if he will lead the APC campaign in 2027, Wike said, “I have told you this before, is it because I am in Asiwaju’s presidency?
“Are you not aware I will lead his campaign in Rivers State? You want me to say no?
“Are you not aware that he didn’t get up to 10 per cent here, FCT? But he will win here. Are you not aware?
“Stop asking me questions you know.
“Of course, you know. Is that hidden.
