Indications have emerged that the relationship between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his political godson, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos is currently frosty.
The president, who is believed to have been coping with some internal issues with the governor chose to be public with his anger in the course of the inauguration of Lagos-Calabar coastal highway phase 1 which took place on the 31st May, 2025.
A viral video of the event revealed how the President snubbed Governor Babajide Sanwoolu despite extending greetings to other governors via the shaking of hands.
