
A black Toyota Hilux belonging to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, was reportedly stolen by suspected thieves while Juma’at prayers was going on in Abuja.
The vehicle was parked at approximately 1:05 PM near the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) complex in Area 10. Upon returning from the nearby mosque, the official discovered the vehicle was missing.

Security source Zagazola Makama shared the news via his X (formerly Twitter) account, indicating that the theft was reported to the Garki Police Division around 2:00 PM, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
In response, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command launched a stop-and-search operation at various checkpoints and entry/exit points throughout the city.
Police authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and they are actively working to apprehend the suspects and recover the stolen Hilux. The Command has intensified efforts to track down those responsible for the theft.
