In fulfilment of its promise to pay members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) a sum of ₦77,000 as monthly allowance, the Federal Government has commenced the payment today. This development was confirmed by several corps members who are serving on the scheme. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rejected the petition demanding the recall of the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, for lack of compliance with the exant rules guiding the process.
