The students of the Christian Mission School for the Deaf in Ibadan, Oyo State, have protested against selling their school land to political office holders and individuals. This announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of Ondo State Waste Management, Mrs Yinka Alabi, on Friday. Oil marketers in Rivers State under the auspices of Eleme & Okrika Host Community Bulk Petroleum Retailers Association have refuted the claims of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) that the old Port Harcourt Refinery was shut down for maintenance purposes. The Ondo State Police Command has arrested 46 youths who were alleged to be involved in a cult clash which left four people dead on Tuesday in Ondo Town.  This development was revealed on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo Stae, Ayanlade Olayinka. The Federal Government has announced a stringent new measure to combat the rising menace of examination malpractice in Nigeria’s education sector. Any student caught cheating in public examinations such as those conducted by WAEC, NECO, and JAMB will now face a minimum three-year ban from taking any external examination in the country.
