The Afenifere Youth Leader, Eniola Ojajuni, has reacted to a viral statement by the Ondo State Police Command alleging that the claim of his alleged kidnap is riddled with inconsistencies as the modus operandi of the alleged kidnappers is at variance with known modes of kidnapping syndicates in the State.
The kidnap survivor, in a video published on his social media platforms stated that it is the responsibility of the Nigerian Police to safeguard lives and properties in the State and not act in conspiracy with a league of powerful persons who he claimed were going to kill him owing to his courageous pronouncement on kidnapping in the State.

Ojajuni expressed his disappointment at the official statement by the Police which tried to discredit his kidnap. He reiterated that his escape was aided by the Ondo Command of the Nigerian Forest Guards who facilitated his transfer to the General Hospital in Ikare after he was released at Ibillo in Edo State.
The statement reads:
“I am writing to clarify that I have not received any invitation for debriefing as claimed by your command. However, I am more than willing to cooperate with the police in their efforts to combat crime and criminality in Ondo State.”
“If there is indeed a need for my involvement or assistance in any investigation, I would appreciate it if you could formally invite me or provide more details about the purpose of the debriefing. I am committed to supporting the police and contributing to the safety and security of our community.”
“Please feel free to contact me through to discuss further.”
“Ondo state police command never invite me after my release at ibilo in Edo state on the 1st of March 2025. After i made a very strong allegation yesterday.”
