Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN, representing the Ondo Central Senatorial District, has dismissed rumors of a fallout with Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, labeling such claims as fabrications by political jobbers.
In a statement to Citizen Rapporteur, Adegbonmire clarified:

“I do not have any conflict with the governor. We share a cordial relationship. Why would I want to clash with him? For what purpose and to whose benefit? These narratives are purely the product of imagination. I have no issues with the governor and continue to support and respect him as the leader of our State. It is my duty to collaborate with the State government, led by him, to foster development in my Senatorial District and the State at large. I have no friction with the governor.”
Regarding his return ticket, he added:
“I reiterate, I have no issues with His Excellency Lucky Ayedatiwa. Discussions about a return ticket are in God’s hands, and the governor has never indicated to me, ‘Niyi, I am against you.’
“There is no truth to these claims. They are merely attempts to create unnecessary discord. I have no issues with the governor, and he has none with me either.”
