Days after a search was launched for the discovery of a missing Lagos banker, 26-year-old Osemudiamen Idemudia, his body was discovered in a morgue located in the Yaba area of Lagos State.
Osemudiamen Idemudia, is an official of a commercial bank in the Ikota area of Lagos.

He was last seen on the evening of May 9, around CMS, Lagos Island.
Days after his disappearance, his family confirmed that his body was found on Sunday, May 18.
His body also carries gruesomely wrought injuries which clearly speaks to a violent attack.
A relative, Segun, while speaking on behalf of the family, revealed how Idemudia’s body was visibly confronted with machete wounds to the head, face, and legs, leading them to believe he was murdered.
“We found Osemudiamen’s body on Sunday in a Yaba morgue. He was murdered. The body had deep cuts on the head, face, and legs. I’m so sad,” Segun said.
The case grew more intense when morgue staff claimed police brought in the body but couldn’t identify the officers involved.
Also, they failed to disclose where the body was recovered from, deepening the mystery.
“The morgue staff said the police brought him in, but they couldn’t tell us from where or which officers. That made the situation more confusing,” Segun added.
The late banker was laid to rest on Tuesday, May 20.
The family mourns and calls for a full investigation into the mysterious and violent circumstances surrounding his death.
