    A draft decree was adopted at the Council of Ministers on Thursday.

    The proposed framework, according to the statement, will:

    🟠Prevent money laundering, embezzlement, and financing of activities that threaten public order;
    🟠Strengthen confidence among technical and financial partners;
    🟠Allow TDB to track all transactions: grants, donations, endowments, and other, received and used by all accredited NGOs and associations.

    All operations—revenues and expenditures—must be conducted exclusively through these accounts, the statement emphasized.

    The TDB was established in August 2024 and fulfills the banking functions of the Public Treasury.
